all-in. I would buy extended makeover options. Making characters is more fun than playing them

Faces:
Only available in Extended Makeover pack, these humans are a lot more furry or hairy than traditional humans. They will look mostly humans with charr traits
Good or bad?

Who says Charr and Humans are actually compatible for breeding? In any case, racial diversity for players is more a GW2 thing, maybe it's better to try this on the gw2guru

Shouldn't be too hard to unlock all hair colors and skin tones across all classes. It's not like they have to worry about clipping issues.

Edit:
Ohhh know what would be great? If we could pick the faces of our favorite devs ..
John Stumme, Martin Kerstein, Stéphane, Mike, Regina, ...
And with a Martin face, all you need for a complete makeover is the most anticipated festival hat of the year

I'm not sure i would get one, i'd have to see what they cost and what they can really do. I would be very tempted. Even if it was just to let any char have all of his/her professions faces and hair available, with maybe a little love(read new faces, or even just hair colors/styles) for professions that lack options(rits/sins/dervs/para)

It would give us a little more orginality in our character creation/remakes. I have minor cosmetic OCD when it comes to my characters aesthetics, lol. Really like this idea.

Although this isnt something GW really needs right now, I'm all for paid cosmetic bonuses. Which in turn pay for things GW really needs right now.

so yeah I was thinking about this late last night.:
'Bonus makeover pack for factions and nightfall!!
this includes 6 new faces for each of the non-core professions from prophecies as well as new ones from factions and nightfall.
6 exciting new hair styles,
new hair color choices and skin tones!'
they could always just adjust one of each core professions hair style to each of the non-core ones (that wouldnt be toooooo hard)....and the faces, make some minor change (the eye color for example) and put it on one of the other ones.
adding the skin tones and a few other hair color choices would be the easiest of the whole thing....
and it could cost the same as a reg makeover pack....but just for the four professions that got basically no update from the makeover pack.

Biologically speaking, Norn, elves, humans, dwarves and all those species that can mingle in fantasy tales, are either sub-species of human with common ancestry, or born through a magical process (like dragon or demon half-breeds).
Saying otherwise would be denying evolution, and you can't do that, not even in fantasy.
Looking at charr, they are clearly too different to humans. Unlikely you can cross-breed naturally, it would have to be some kind of experiment.

Hey I can accept that! We know Charr kept Ascalonians imprisoned for various reasons, there might have been experiments there too.. maybe try to make the humans less ugly even (read. more furry)..
In the end, some humans can have some Charr traits. Only a few though, maybe whiskars, maybe a bit hairy face, maybe pointy ears.. things that wouldn't be too difficult to reskin into onto existing human models.

This offers some well-needed variety for a few professions, specifically the campaign-exclusive four. It also helps out significantly in supporting the GW1 team further..

Whilst not technically character cosmetic, i'd add the suggestion of making a few more varieties to the guild cape choices. Maybe 1 or 2 different widths/lengths of capes.

I actually enjoy having specific hairstyles/faces for specific classes. Adding NEW hairstyles/faces to the mix would be nice, though. Nightfall/Factions professions do need more choices.

I don't if I would ever use it but I do know some who definitely would.

Everything has a common ancestor to everything else. That is irrelevant. What matters whether they are viable for mating is how far that common ancestor is. Our knowledge of in vitro cross-breeding is nowhere near that point so "experimentation" wouldn't help (and even if the argument that "well they are more advanced than we are in reality" was used, then denying evolution becomes of no consequence). Once you add magic, nothing needs to make sense; any event can be attributed to "the wizard did it".

I don't want to see rangers that look like elementalists and other stuff like that.
I would rather see new options added for each profession. Instead of adding a new flavor of makeover pack to the store, they could make it so the new options are only available to people with makeover credits. The current options would be available during character creation and people would need to buy a makeover pack if they want something that's not offered there. I have always disagreed with people that say the makeover packs are overpriced, but it might make them a little more tempting for that crowd if something like this was a possibility.
So I guess that means /signed for new options and /notsigned for adding another flavor of makeover pack to the store.
If any of the ideas in this thread aren't even worth considering, can I just get a paper bag for my paragon?
